Thanks to our local music guru Chris Harrell and other volunteers, this benefit for the Our Lady of Light Community Center church in Lamy has been a wonderful new tradition for the last couple years, where musicians take turns celebrating the Day of the Dead by playing music by deceased artists. On Saturday November 4, from 1 – 6 we’re featuring musicians who died this year. Jim and I are second in the lineup and are busily fine-tuning harmonies for three classics by Burt Bacharach. There will be hot drinks and festive light foods. $20 donation at the door. Please dress warmly and enjoy the company of our wonderful community. We’d love to see you!
